“Unbound” is a collection of queered landscapes that generate new unconfined spaces through manual distortion. By use of chance and a heavy hand, negatives are manipulated and altered perspectives are created in recognition of those who are displaced because they refuse tradition. The binary is rejected as unusual forms are celebrated. I take pride in breaking down the well-established practice of shooting and developing film by interjecting destructive tendencies, resulting in a perspective that lets ambiguity thrive.
